Open Learning settings

From Courses, open a course and select Settings.

Choose the Learning tab.

Enable Allow Notes to let students take notes during lessons.

Turn on Enable Transcripts to show video transcripts when available.

Enable Track Watch Time to record detailed viewing analytics.

Turn on Enable Discussions to show the Discuss button inside lessons and allow community posts.

To use discussions:

In Access, select one or more communities in Communities (where this course appears).

In the course player, choose Discuss to open the community composer pre-attached to the current lesson.
