Managing Boards

Rename boards, change icons and colors, and delete boards.

Find and filter boards

Use the board list toolbar to find what you need:

  • Search boards... filters by name or description
  • Date filters by updated date
  • All Types filters by Kanban or Sales
  • Clear Filters resets active filters

Use the view toggle to switch between Grid and List layouts.

Rename a board

  1. Open a board.
  2. Click the board name at the top.
  3. Type the new name and press Enter or click away.

Switch boards

Open the board switcher (chevron next to the board name) to search boards and jump to a different board.

Filter cards inside a board

Use the board toolbar to narrow visible cards:

  • Search by title, contact, email, or card details.
  • Toggle Assigned to me for your own cards.
  • Filter by assigned admin, including Unassigned.
  • Filter by due date, including overdue, due today, due this week, or no due date.
  • Filter by stage when you need to focus on one part of the board.

Use the Board Inbox

The bell icon opens Board Inbox for assignment, mention, comment, due-date, overdue, and stage-change updates tied to the board.

  • Open a notification to jump back to the related board or card.
  • Use Mark all read to clear unread indicators.
  • Dismiss notifications you no longer need.

Update board icon or color

From the board header menu:

  • Choose Change Background Color to set the board background.
  • Choose Set Board Icon to pick an icon.

Make support staff assignable

When support staff need to help on a specific board, use the board menu:

  • Make Me Assignable lets you appear in card assignment and mention pickers for that board.
  • Leave Board Assignments removes you from that board's assignable list.
  • Manage Support Participants lets eligible admins add or remove support staff for the board.

Delete a board

From the board header menu, click Delete Board and confirm the dialog.

You can also delete a board from the list view using the board menu.
