Email Marketing

Set default sender details and compliance info for email.

What this controls

Email Marketing settings define the default sender identity and compliance info for campaigns and flows.

Update email defaults

1

Open Email Marketing

2

Add your business name and address

These are required for CAN‑SPAM compliance.

3

Set default sender details

Update Default Sender Name, Default Email, and Default Reply‑To Email.

4

Set a system email

Use Default System Email for system‑generated messages.

Manage email preference groups

You can define your own subscriber-facing email topics, then use those topics in campaigns and flows.

1

Open Email Preference Groups

In Email Marketing, click Manage Groups.

2

Create or edit groups

Add groups, rename labels, update descriptions, and reorder them to control how they appear on the preference page.

3

Archive old groups

Archive groups you no longer want to show in new pickers. Existing contacts and older emails keep their previous assignments.

4

Save website settings

Close the groups dialog, then click the main Save button in Website Settings to publish your changes.

Tips

  • Defaults are used in campaigns and flows unless you override them per email.
  • Keep labels short and specific so subscribers can quickly understand what they are opting in or out of.
  • Subscribers can resubscribe from the preference center by selecting topics and saving.
  • If an address is blocked because of repeated bounces or spam reports, preference updates can still be saved, but delivery stays paused until support restores sending.
