Header and Footer

Edit shared header, footer, navigation, and global layout areas.

Your header and footer are shared layout areas. Changes you make there can appear across multiple pages on the published site.

1

Open Website Pages

2

Open a page in the builder

Choose the page you want to use while editing the shared layout.

3

Select the header or footer area

Click into the header or footer area on the canvas, then update text, links, buttons, logos, menus, spacing, and widgets as needed.

4

Save and publish

Save your draft. When you publish header or footer changes, review more than one live page because shared layout updates affect the site globally.

Common header edits

  • Update the logo or business name.
  • Edit navigation menu links.
  • Change the main call-to-action button.
  • Adjust spacing, alignment, colors, and mobile behavior.
  • Use the Menu Widget when you need to change menu items, dropdowns, or mobile menu styling.
  • Update contact details, disclaimers, copyright text, and social links.
  • Add or remove footer columns.
  • Update footer buttons or navigation links.
  • Adjust spacing, colors, background, and divider treatments.

Tips

  • Header and footer edits are separate from a page-body copy rewrite.
  • If a header or footer uses a Menu widget, open the Menu settings to edit navigation items.
  • If you only want to change one page’s body content, use Editing Pages instead.
