Creating Pages

Add new pages and organize them into folders.

Create a new page

When you add a page, you'll choose:

  • Page name (what you see in the editor)
  • URL path (what visitors see in the browser)

Tip: keep URLs short and readable (for example, /about, /services, /contact).

Choose how to start

After you create a page, you can begin with:

  • Continue with Blank Page: start from scratch.
  • Choose a Template: start from a prebuilt layout.
  • AI Generate: describe the page and let AI build a first draft.

AI Generate options

When using AI Generate, you can control the starting direction:

  • Prompt: describe audience, offer, visual style, and anything to avoid.
  • Internal references: use Add reference or type @ to mention pages, blog posts, funnels, funnel steps, emails, products, and other saved resources from this site.
  • Content, Layout, or Both: click a reference chip to tell AI whether to borrow copy, mirror structure, or use both when the referenced resource supports layout matching.
  • Inspiration site: add a URL to analyze another page before generation when you want external layout direction or a closer migration-style target.
  • Source content handling: when you paste longer source copy or use an analyzed reference site, you can choose Design only, Use source copy exactly, Use source copy but tighten it, or Rewrite from source.
  • Image quality: choose Stock when you want the fastest draft and plan to replace images, Good for faster AI-generated imagery, or High for higher-quality image generation.
  • Exact-copy guardrails: if you ask for exact copy or a close match and the draft drifts from required copy, CTA wording, source domains, or required media, the run stops and shows the issues before returning a draft.
  • Clarification prompts when needed: if your prompt conflicts with the selected mode (single page vs full site), AI asks a quick follow-up before generation.
  • Business-fit wording cleanup: copied or cross-industry prompt language is translated into wording that fits your business more consistently.
  • Homepage sections stay homepage sections: mentioning resources, offers, newsletter areas, or blog previews inside a homepage brief does not create extra pages unless you explicitly ask for them.
  • Full-site design consistency: in a full-site run, later pages follow the first completed page's visual direction more closely so spacing, CTA styling, and section rhythm feel connected.
  • More reliable page-to-page links: when AI creates a group of pages, buttons that should point to pages like Contact or About resolve to the created page paths more consistently instead of inactive anchors.
  • Safer contact and media sections: generated contact pages are checked for usable form fields, and image slots are repaired when a draft tries to use an empty or broken placeholder.
  • Use current branding: keeps your current global style direction.
  • Let AI propose a fresh brand direction: creates a draft global Brand Kit you can review in preview before applying.
  • Improved row matching: section generation now distinguishes row template groups like Headers, Heroes, and Footers for more precise layout picks.
  • Page-focused generation flow: generation now follows the selected page goal and section flow more closely before building the draft.
  • Plan revisions before generate: from the plan step, you can submit a revision prompt to adjust page direction before queueing.
  • External import progress details: completed runs can show managed, failed, and substituted external image imports so follow-up edits are faster.
  • Cards-based sections when they fit the page: service highlights, stories, testimonials, and step-based sections can now come back as editable Cards Widget instead of generic text blocks.
  • Cleaner repeated feature patterns: repeated steps, benefits, and icon-and-text stacks can come back as editable List Widget widgets, and image-led columns are less likely to repeat extra decorative icons.
  • Stronger image-overlay readability: hero and call-to-action sections keep darker overlay treatments more reliably when bright photography needs better text contrast.
  • Page History follow-up: finished runs stay in Page history so you can reopen a result later, keep tracking an active run after closing the dialog, or use Cancel when it is available for a stalled run.
  • Stronger footer and action fidelity: first drafts now keep footer brand blocks, social-link rows, divider treatments, hero outline buttons, and numbered step layouts more reliably.
  • CTA wording follows the plan: when a page plan names exact primary or secondary button text, generated buttons keep that wording more reliably.
  • More disciplined visual cleanup: restrained, portfolio-style, and monochrome prompts are less likely to pick up extra decorative color, heavy card framing, or washed-out action sections.
  • Independent page runs: when you start AI Generate on different pages in the same site, each page now keeps its own run and completion state more reliably.
  • Apply to this page: if a finished single-page result was generated for a different page than the one you are editing, you can still apply it to the current page from the preview after you confirm.
  • Exact copy for legal and reference pages: text-heavy legal, policy, and reference-style pages can keep exact source copy without being blocked just because there are no source images to mirror, and those drafts keep a wider document-style text width when it fits the content.
  • Better follow-up editing context: generated sections now preserve more section purpose, visual direction, and headline/body roles so later AI row or widget edits fit the page more naturally.
  • Richer row generation context: adding a new AI row can use more of the current page's surrounding content, helping new sections avoid repeated copy and match the existing flow.

If a generation includes a Brand Kit draft, it is applied when you apply the generated page.
