Configure SEO metadata and discoverability settings for blog posts.
What to optimize per post
- Meta title and meta description
- Slug quality and readability
- Category/tag relevance
- Social image and OG preview fields
- Canonical and indexing behavior when applicable
Workflow
1
Open a post settings panel
Go to Blog, open a post, then open Settings.

Set metadata and taxonomy
Update title/description and align tags and categories with the post topic.

Publish and verify
Publish (or schedule), then verify preview cards and metadata output.
Notes
- Keep blog metadata aligned with page-level SEO strategy.
- Use consistent naming patterns for categories when you publish frequently.
- Revisit older posts when your SEO strategy changes.
- For post-level controls and publishing workflow, use Blog Post Settings, Drafts and Publishing, and SEO Automation and Bulk Actions.
Blog insights in post settings
Post settings now include an insights view to help you prioritize SEO work:
- Traffic: 7/30/90 day visits and views for the post.
- Ranking Visibility: tracked keyword ranks, rank movement, impressions, and clicks.
When rankings are missing, confirm your tracked keywords are configured and give snapshots time to populate.
