Team Profile SEO
Optimize team member profiles with SEO suggestions, health checks, and discovery controls.
Team profile SEO fields
For each public team profile, keep these fields complete and current:
- Name, slug, role, credentials, headline, mini bio, and full bio
- Profile photo / OG image
- Meta title and meta description
- OG title and OG description
- Canonical URL (only when needed)
- Discovery controls (robots, sitemap, LLMS)
Workflow
Open Team member details
Go to Website Pages, switch to the Team tab, then open a member.
Update profile content first
Finalize name, role, headline, mini bio, rich bio content, and slug before generating SEO updates.
Generate and apply SEO suggestions
In the member dialog, use Generate SEO and apply suggested title/description fields where appropriate.
Run Health analysis
Open the Health tab to review the score, open tasks, and highest-impact fixes.
Confirm discovery controls
Verify Robots Index, Include in Sitemap, and LLMS are set for profiles you want discoverable.
Discovery controls and eligibility
Team profiles are eligible for discovery outputs only when all required controls are enabled:
- Public profile is active
- Member has a valid slug
- Robots index is on
- Include in sitemap is on
- Include in LLMS is on
If one of these is off, the profile may still exist in your workspace but can be excluded from machine-readable discovery and related SEO surfaces.
Best practices
- Keep meta fields specific to each team member; avoid copy/paste metadata across profiles.
- Regenerate suggestions after major content edits (headline, mini bio, long bio, role changes).
- Use canonical overrides only when consolidating intentional duplicates.
- Pair profile SEO with Team Profiles, Team Widget, and LLMS Eligibility.
