Blog List Widget

Display blog posts as cards or a carousel.

Use Blog List to show recent posts as cards or a carousel.

Live refresh behavior

  • Public published lists are cached for faster page loads.
  • When you publish, unpublish, or update post settings that affect live output, the blog list refreshes automatically.
  • Category and tag filtered lists refresh with the same cache invalidation flow.

The dialog has three tabs: Content, Filters, and Style.

  • Posts Limit
  • Posts per View (carousel only)
  • Show Arrows, Auto-play, Auto-play Delay (carousel only)
  • Show Images, Show Excerpt, Show Date, Show Author
  • Image Aspect Ratio: 16:9, 1:1, 4:3, Auto Height

Filters tab

  • Filter by Categories
  • Filter by Tags

Style tab

  • Mobile Columns, Tablet Columns, Desktop Columns
  • Column settings apply to card layouts
  • Card Preset: choose classic, elevated, minimal, editorial list, or image overlay card styling.
  • Card Density, gap, radius, border, shadow, and background controls.
  • Overlay Tint and Overlay Text Tone for image overlay cards, so text can stay readable on light or dark imagery.
  • Image, title, metadata, excerpt, and button colors for matching the widget to the surrounding page.

Design tips

  • Use image overlay cards when the post image should carry the card visually.
  • Switch overlay text tone to dark when the overlay or image is light.
  • Use minimal or editorial list presets for dense blog indexes where scanning matters more than large imagery.
  • Review the public page after changing card presets because image availability, post titles, and excerpts can affect the final card height.
