Booking Widget

The Booking widget embeds your booking flow directly on a page.

Add a Booking widget

Booking Settings

• Event Type: select an event type to display.
• If no event types exist, create one in the Booking section first.
• The widget shows a summary for the selected event type, including name and duration.
• Configure event types in Event Types and staff availability in Staff.

Visitor booking behavior

• The calendar highlights dates that have available slots for the selected staff member and event type.
• When an event has multiple staff choices, Hiveality chooses a ready staff member when it can and still lets visitors pick another available staff member when the event allows it.
• Group booking slots can accept more than one invitee when the event type sets seats per slot.
• If a selected meeting location is not fully configured, the booking flow shows a clear setup message instead of confirming an incomplete booking.
• When an event has location choices, the first available option is selected by default so visitors can continue with fewer taps.

Mobile behavior

The Booking widget adapts to the width of the page area where it is placed.

• Wide layouts show event details beside the calendar and time slots.
• Narrow layouts step visitors from date selection to time selection with a View Times action.
• Loading states reserve the calendar and time-slot space so the widget does not jump while availability loads.
• The compact time zone control shows the visitor's time zone and offset, with a Change action when space is tight.
