Open the AI dialog
In the Email Builder toolbar, click Ask AI.

Describe the email
Fill out Describe the email and use Add reference if you want to include screenshots, files, or other saved assets. Type @ to mention saved resources from this site without opening the picker manually. You can use the microphone button to dictate prompt text.

Choose options
Optional toggles:
- Replace existing content (rewrite the body)
- Allow header edits
- Allow footer edits

Generate
Click Generate and review the result.
Tips
- Use Add reference when you want the draft to stay closer to an existing layout, screenshot, campaign asset, page, funnel, or saved email.
- For references that support layout matching, click the chip to choose Content, Layout, or Both.
- Email AI now keeps related paragraphs grouped more consistently and aligns image width choices more closely with hero and column layouts, so drafts are easier to edit after generation.
- If a longer run times out, retry with a shorter prompt or fewer references. The dialog now stops very long requests with a clear error instead of waiting indefinitely.
- Leave Allow header edits and Allow footer edits off when you want your current global header and footer to stay unchanged.
