Send a Test Email

What this does

Test emails let you confirm layout and formatting in a real inbox before sending to real recipients. The test send uses the current builder content when you have unsaved changes, then prepares cleaner email HTML for common inbox clients.

Steps

From inside the Email Builder

You can also send a test from the builder toolbar using Send Test Email. When you are editing the same email, Hiveality uses the live builder content for the test so unsaved layout changes can be checked before a final save.

The test dialog prefills your user email when available, but you can replace it with any inbox you need to check.

Tips

• Save recent email content changes before sending a test if you want the test to reflect the latest saved version.
• If the email follows global styles, save your global layout, button, or font changes first so the test uses the latest saved defaults.
• Check a test in the inboxes your audience uses most, especially older desktop email clients, before sending a heavily designed campaign.
