An Email step sends a specific email to the contact when they reach this step in the flow.

Add an Email step where you want the message to send.

Choose the email

Pick the exact email the contact should receive.

Test with one contact

Trigger the flow once and confirm the email sends.

When to use it

  • Send a welcome email after a trigger
  • Deliver a follow-up message after a delay
  • Confirm a completed action

Tips

  • Make sure the email exists and is finalized before you activate the flow.
  • Test with a single contact first.
  • If you manually move contacts to an Email step for testing, the email step now processes immediately after the move.
  • For destination steps that are only in draft, publish the flow first before moving contacts.

If you need to space messages out, add a Delay between emails.
